The Pokuase interchange, a well designed four-tier interchange directly linking two major cities in Ghana is near completion. The interchange is designed to give easy access to motorists travelling to and from the capital city Accra, it lies on the Nsawam road at Pokuase junction in the Ga West municipality of the Greater Accra region.
The four-tier interchange will have eight lanes underneath, some key features such as connecting roads, provisions for the Mass Rapid Transit and rail transport expansion are included. The estimated cost of the project is $84million and funded by the African Development Bank and government of Ghana. The project which started in July, 2018 is expected to be completed in the year 2021.
